Business Profile
FLOORING At Walker Timber we carry a wide range of flooring in many finishes and wood types.
SKIRTING To complement your flooring we carry good range of skirting board in various shapes and sizes.
STAIR PARTS At Walker Timber we carry all the parts neccessary for building staircases from stairs to handrails to bannisters plus more.
Plasterboard Most types of plasterboard are available in 9.5 or 12.5mm thicknesses, the thicker size is most often used and offers increased rigidity. The usual sheet size is 2400 x 1200, smaller sizes may be specified for roof work because of their reduced weight and ease of handling.
About Us
Walker Timber and Fencing Centre is a locally run family business based in Birkby, Huddersfield.
Now run by Mark and Michelle Walker the fourth generation of Walkers who took over from Mark's father Richard and mother Liz who retired after heading the firm for well over 30 years.
FENCING
At Walker Timber we offer one of Huddersfield's widest ranges of fences and accessories. We carry many fence types including European and Paling panels -
including overlap, feather edged,single and double sided and ranch style. All in a wide range of popular sizes.
DECKING Decking is a great way for you to make more of your garden. We hold large stocks of treated softwood and timber decking, joists and balustrades which can be delivered to you in a very short space of time.
CONCRETE
We supply all manner of concrete and metal parts to finish your job.
Including concrete posts and metal spikes.
TIMBER
Every type of timber imaginable is available direct from our yard.
Including tanalised and plain.
